About UK Gaming Club
A stated assumption beats an unmeasured claim, so every figure on this site carries its arithmetic in the open.

What this guide is, and what it is not
UK Gaming Club is an independent British guide to casino offers, and it does its work with arithmetic rather than anecdotes. Most review writing asks you to trust a verdict. This site asks you to check a calculation. Each offer page takes the kind of terms common to a category of promotion, states the assumptions in plain sight, and models what those terms mean in pounds: what a matched deposit costs to clear at a stated multiplier, what spin winnings are worth once wagering is applied, where a cashout cap starts to bite.
The output is a figure you can argue with, together with the sums that produced it. If you disagree with an assumption, replace it with your own and the conclusion moves with it. That, rather than a verdict dressed up as experience, is the product.
The method: assumptions stated, sums shown
The method holds on every page. Every figure sits beside the assumption that produced it, and every model runs on the page where you read it, so the arithmetic is visible rather than asserted. Nothing is tested by playing. No accounts are opened, no deposits are made, no withdrawals are timed and no support desk is quizzed for the sake of a story. Anecdotes of that kind cannot be rerun by a reader; arithmetic can.
The site takes the terms an offer type usually carries, states which multiplier and which spin value it has assumed, and shows what falls out of the sums. The house rule fits in one line: the site models, calculates and cites; it does not gamble. Where market habit matters, it enters as a stated assumption, for example wagering taken at 35 times because that sits near the middle of the 20 to 50 times band this end of the market typically asks for.
How this site is paid
The money is the part readers ask about first, so it gets a plain answer. Placement on the board is bought: an operator can pay for position there, and the fact of that purchase is disclosed on its own page, in full, rather than hidden in a footnote. Everywhere else the rule is stricter. The comparison tables carry no paid rows: a brand appears because it fits the category, not because anyone funded its place.
No operator pays for a word of prose. Nothing in these sections or on any offer page is sponsored, no brand sees a sentence before publication, and no commercial relationship buys a softer adjective. When a page argues that a UKGC licence brings a reader concrete protections, the argument rests on regulation, not on revenue. Where money changes hands on this site, the reader is told; where it does not, no sentence is for sale.
Two files, one discipline
Behind the pages sit two source files, and the discipline they impose is easy to describe. One file holds facts about law and regulators: what the Gambling Act 2005 demands of an operator serving British customers, what the Gambling Commission’s public register records, what GAMSTOP covers, what the credit card ban has meant since 2020. Every entry in that file carries its primary source and the date it was checked, so any claim on a page can be traced back and tested against the original.
The other file holds the short descriptive lines that let a brand be mentioned at all. Claims about operators, their terms and their conduct stay out of prose: if a sentence cannot be sourced to legislation, a regulator or a stated assumption, it is not written. Assumptions used by the calculators are labelled as assumptions, never presented as measurements.
Corrections, challenges and contact
Terms move often, and a guide that cannot hear about a change goes stale quietly. If you have spotted one worth recording, a wagering multiplier that has shifted, a payment rail that has appeared or vanished, an expiry that no longer matches what a page assumes, the contact page is open for exactly that. Corrections to the arithmetic are equally welcome: if you believe an assumption no longer fits the market, write in and the model can be re-run with your figure beside the old one.
Messages that name a specific page and a specific term get the quickest attention, because they can be checked against a source straight away. Complaints about a single operator belong with that operator, the regulator or an approved dispute scheme; this site does not mediate, and no payment changes that.
